Further Future 001 Voted Best Festival, Drops Official After Movie
Further Future reveals a new after-story video for its inaugural desert festival which has drawn global praise, including being recently recognized by Las Vegas Weekly as Las Vegas’ ‘Best Music Festival’ of 2015. Showcasing beautiful highlights from the event and set to music from Desert Sound Colony’s forthcoming album, the video invites creative ambassadors and out-of-the-box thinkers to join in reflecting on the awe-inspiring possibilities of beauty, adventure, and invention in the experiential space beyond festivals.
The inaugural Further Future took place on the Moapa River Indian Reservation in the majestic Mojave desert landscape outside of Las Vegas, May 1-3, 2015. With over 70 acts spread across four stages, the event’s soundscape featured an eclectic who’s who of global talent. From left-field, boundary-pushing electronica, to the stirring performances of live indie, rock, and experimental acts, to house music pioneers, Further Future was a mecca for music-lovers with talent including: Actress, Hundred Waters, Rhye, Thugfucker, Warpaint, FaltyDL, Dauwd, Miguel Migs & Lisa Shaw, AEONIX, Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, Henry Saiz (Live Band), John Tejada, Bob Moses, Com Truise, DJ Garth, Foreign Fields, Lone, Nosaj Thing, and a multitude more.
Formed in 2013 by the team behind the Robot Heart phenomenon known for its world class aural and culture curation, Further Future was founded as a platform for a cultural movement.
