Phoenix Lights To Set Arizona Ablaze, April 2 -3

After a successful display of talent last weekend at the McDowell Mountain Music Festival (M3F), in downtown Phoenix, Margaret T. Hance Park is set to play host to another amazing lineup of electronic musicians and dance music fans, April 2-3rd.  Having spent the weekend exploring the activities, sights and sounds of M3F, I was impressed with the organization, safety, access, and all around good times that were had.  The 32-acre park is located above the Interstate 10 Tunnel, between 5th Ave. and 3rd Street.  It is located near the Central Station METRO Light Rail and bus transfer stations and is surrounded by libraries, museums, educational facilities, and the arts district.  Building off of this momentum, fans can expect top-level talent, cutting edge visuals, unique stage design, interactive experiential installations and more.

Keeping to its pledge to make this year twice as big, Phoenix Lights has announced the second round of artists for the annual event.  Presented by Relentless Beats, the two-day music festival includes a roster of over 20 artists, with new talent being added daily. Newly announced headliners include: Eric Prydz, who recently released his debut full length, Opus; Shazam chart dominating terror, DJ Snake; Excision, touring behind his visually stunning production tour The Paradox Live; Illenium, whose week old release “Ashes” sits atop the electronic music charts; and Ephwurd, a.k.a. the brainchild of bass heavyweights, Datsik and Bais Haus.  Also joining previously announced artists: Kaskade; Black Tiger Sex Machine, Jai Wolf, Yellow Claw and Troyboi, include: Dr. Fresch; SNBRN; Tritonal; Bakermat; Marc Kinchen; Claude VonStroke; Ghastly; Cut Snake; Drezo; 4B; Bijou and Ryan Collins. More artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

When asked how he expects fans to react to the lineup announcement, Relentless Beats founder, Thomas Turner said, “I can’t help but look at the lineup we have and feel like we are building something massive for our fans.  Phoenix Lights is going to be something people are talking about for a long time to come.”
