Through The Lens: Gem and Jam Festival 2016

Gem and Jam Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary last weekend in Tucson with a stacked line-up of musicians, heaps of talented live painters and performers, workshops, food, and vendors.  The world renowned Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Showcase is held concurrently at another venue, but a lot of  hippies at the festival walk around with a little display case of their gems and jewelry.

This year’s massive lineup included Beats Antique, Lettuce, The Polish Ambassador, Tycho, Govinda, and Canadian favorites, Delhi 2 Dublin.  With two elaborate outdoor stages featuring booming speakers and video screens, and an air conditioned indoor stage, the music was always pumping and there were always sights and sounds to experience.
