K- Do you have a favourite holiday carol?

R- I don’t really have a lot of carolling experience (grew up Jewish) but I do like the Dashing through the snow one…

K- “Riverside” is the sixth acclaimed roots/folk recording you guys have done…. Impressive! What is the recording process like for you guys? Do you ever fall asleep on the floor?

R – This album we actually rented a really nice studio in Vancouver and recorded over 4 long days. In the past we recorded at our manager/friend/recording engineer’s house and we were really comfortable there. This time out we started early and put in a 12 hr day each and four days later we were done! It was a great experience to be playing together and focusing 100 percent on the music away from home. My car broke down pretty much in front of the studio on day one which was pretty funny/shitty too.

K- What’s the most sentimental thing a fan has ever said to you guys?

R – A lot of people tell us that their kids really like us and that they sing along in the car to our music. That warms my heart for sure.

K- Do you prefer Cats or dogs?

R – Definitely a dog person. I have a husky/rotweiler/border collie and I’m so proud of her I even show people a video of her howling sometimes if they seem like they’d be willing to watch it.

We can’t wait to see you all there! ❤ B and K
