The Riff Raff of Rifflandia Music Festival

We lived, we laughed, we loved. That pretty much sums up my experience just over a week ago at Rifflandia Music Festival in combination with Breakout/West. Xavier Walker, Matt Love, and myself set off on a four day musical journey to dance and document our way through Victoria BC’s favourite local festival. What can I say other than between the three of us, we were 24/7 Killing it, and we weren’t the only ones!

This year’s festival was scattered with attendees of all ages–from the very young to the very old, each person participating in the festival in their unique way. Whether it was working, volunteering, performing or dancing, each person played an integral role in the Odyssey that was Rifflandia. Each day and night was filled to the brim with musical talent from local artists like Pigeon Hole, Neon Steve, Jesse Roper and Illvis Freshly to big names like Kiesza, Mother Mother, Julian Casablancas + The Voids, Arkells and Modest Mouse.
