Many may have been wondering, possibly even losing their composure over when Pickathon, Portland’s yearly musical weekend wonderland, will announce their 2015 lineup. Well, friends, the time is now! Today, Pickathon 2015, which happens in Happy Valley, OR (a mere 20-minute drive from downtown Portland) on July 31st – August 2nd, is announcing the first batch of bands for this year’s festivities.

Featuring a heady mix of established greats and up-and-comers, the festival has often been one of the first to support artists like Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers, Lake Street Dive, Future Islands, Courtney Barnett, and Shakey Graves, who have all gone on to huge things. Who will be the artist in this year’s lineup that will be garnering international attention next year? Well, attendees will just have to come and see for themselves.
