SKMB Compilation Vol 1 features music by 11 artists from Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and the UK. The album begins with local feel good house favs WMNSTUDIES & Kid Vibe before going into a playful house track from Homebreakin Records vet Spilt Milk. Next up is a collaboration from Nelson born, Vancouver based artist Ryan Wells and Calgary’s Wax Romeo, two artists that have been tearing it up on the regional festival circuit the past couple of years. Following is a spacey house remix of local duoCLYPHS by one of our favourite guys in the local scene, BIKES. From there things get a little deeper and darker with music from two Vancouver duo’s, Howl Sound and Clyphs, as well as Toronto based artist Third Floor. The album finishes off with two songs from UK artists, one pounding house track from WATSN followed by a more mellow and spaced out beat to finish it all off from London’s Artikal.”
