A Song for Remembrance Day- Elvis Perkins: While You Were Sleeping

Whether you live in Commonwealth or not, tomorrow signifies a defining moment in all of our history: the armistice that signified the end of WWI.  Remembrance Day; the day we remember the generations of veterans past and current soldiers overseas for their service.  “While You Were Sleeping” by Elvis Perkins is a song that is only fitting for an incredibly important and sombre day.  We would like to dedicate this to our families who fought, and in some cases won and, also sadly lost their lives to war.

Mr. Perkins wrote this beautiful song for his parents who passed away nearly 12 years ago.

Lest We Forget.
