Ear safety is a huge deal when you are partying all weekend at a loud Music Festival. I can’t tell you how many times I have pushed my way to the front of the crowd to hear my favourite set and wasn’t able to sleep because of my ringing ears.
Unbeknownst to me at the time, there are a number of ways you can protect your hearing at gigs/festivals. Here are some ideas:
- Don’t get too close to the speakers – the closer you are, the more noise reaching your ears – no speaker hugging!
- Take breaks – if there is a chill out area at the event, use it
- Wear some form of hearing protection to reduce damage (Toilet paper does not count!), either use regular earplugs from the pharmacy (although they will muffle sound) or get a pair of www.earbuddies.ca which don’t muffle sound only lower the volume! I’ve had these for a few years and they come in a little carrying case which makes it SO easy to always have on you!
Don’t have any? Well it’s your lucky day! Win a FREE brand new pair of EarBuddies featured above! There are two ways to win:
1. “Like” www.facebook.com/KalisiLuv My Facebook Page and “Share” the photo of EarBuddies, and leave a comment on the photo about what type of article you want me to write next for BettyandKora.com!
**Max 2 entries per person. Draw will be done on July 30th so you will get them in time for August Music Festivals!
Good luck and lots of Luv Party Fairies!
